Providence Recruiting Guide to the First July 2016 Live Evaluation Period

The first July live evaluation period has arrived and the Providence coaching staff will be out and about stalking down talented future Friars all across the country over the next few days. A live evaluation period means college coaches are allowed to attend and evaluate recruits at certified events. This particular evaluation period begins on July 6th at 5pm and is active through 5pm on July 10th. Nike has their EYBL Peach Jam, which is their playoffs and adidas finishes off their Gaunlet series. Under Armour’s finale event is later in July so they will be hosting their All-America Camp this week in Charlotte.
Note: All teams are 17U unless otherwise noted.

Nike EYBL Peach Jam 7/6-7/8

The Nike Peach Jam is the EYBL playoffs. Each team had to qualify during the 3 sessions that made up the EYBL Regular Season in April and May and now the remaining teams will play games in their pool with the hope of making it to the final, which will be televised on ESPNU on at 2pm on July 10th. adidas Gauntlet Finale 7/7-7/9

This is the finale of the adidas Gauntlet series being played in Spartanburg, SC, which is about a 2 hour drive north from Nike EYBL’s Peach Jam being played in North Augusta, SC. This is a bracketed event so the schedule, aside from each team’s first game, is determined based on winning and losing. There is no “pool play” like the EYBL Peach Jam.
