- Providence held their Senior Night ceremony before tonight’s game. Kris Dunn and Junior Lomomba were honored and joined by their families at midcourt, along with Ed Cooley and Bob Driscoll. Friar fans cheered loudly for both Dunn and Lomomba and the energy in the building was evident at the tip. The Friars started off well with good ball movement and stifling defense. The Friars began settling for too many jump shots as they half went on and Creighton was able to take a 32-28 lead into the locker room.
- Kris Dunn had his best game in some time, fitting in his last game at the Dunk. He certainly looked close to 100%. He scored 17 points, dished out 6 assists, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 1 steal.
- Ben Bentil led all scorers with 27 points on 9/21 shooting. He also added 10 rebounds on the night.
- Jalen Lindsey went 0/5 from beyond the arc, but was active on the glass and scored at the rim to the tune of 13 points. That’s back to back games in double-figure scoring for Lindsey.
- Kyron Cartwright provided an offensive spark off the bench with 5 assists against 1 turnover in 28 minutes.
- James Milliken led Creighton with 26 points and Cole Huff gave the Bluejays a nice effort off the bench with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
- Ed Cooley got his 100th career win at Providence. His record is 100-65 (.606) in his time as the head coach in Friartown.
- The Friars close out the regular season on Saturday, March 5th against St. John’s at Madison Sq at 12:30pm ET. The game will be televised on FS1.

great win for Providence. great way to send out Dunn at the Dunk. Need to shoot better from 3 point range. Teams are starting to play off Lindsey, Bullock and Fazekas. Need to hit shots.
Hey Hop: Where we throwing back a couple cold ones before Big East Tourney games?
Heard Hopkins is buying rounds of Fireball. Savage.
Probably wont even be attending Thursday. He works for the county.
The announcers for last nights came on CBS sports network were brutal. They kept repeating how this is definitely Bentils last season at Providence.
