Providence Recruits to Play in High School All-Star Game on Friday
Camp Errol was founded by Calvin Jones and named in honor of Errol Clinton who was killed at the age of 15 by a random act of violence in the city of Providence. E.R.R.O.L. stands for Education, Respect, Responsibility, Opportunity and Leadership. This Friday Camp Errol will be hosting an All-Star game at Jorge Alvarez High School in Providence and there will be 6 Providence recruits between the classes of 2016 and 2017 that will play.
Providence recruits playing in the All About The Buckets All-Star game will be 2016 Mamadou Diarra (Putnam Science), 2016 Wenyen Gabriel (Wilbraham & Monson), 2017 Hamidou Diallo (Putnam Science), 2017 Tomas Murphy (Northfield Mount Hermon), 2017 Jerome Desrosiers (Northfield Mount Hermon) and 2017 Kimani Lawrence (Cushing Academy). Gabriel and Diallo will be among the contestants in the dunk contest.
This will be a good chance for any Providence locals to check out some potential future Friars.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Jorge Alvarez High School is located at 375 Adelaide Ave, Providence, RI 02907 and doors open at 6pm.
