LaDontae Henton is Finalist for Inaugural Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award
LaDontae Henton had a rough game on his Senior Day against Butler to close out the regular season on Saturday. On Sunday he was recognized by the Big East coaches as being unanimously selected to the Big East’s First Team. On Monday Henton was named as a finalist for the inaugural Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award.
The finalists are:Â Stanley Johnson (Arizona), Justise Winslow (Duke), LaDontae Henton (Providence), Justin Anderson (Virginia) and Sam Dekker (Wisconsin).
The winner of the inaugural award will be presented at ESPN’s College Basketball Awards show on April 10th in Los Angeles.
