Providence recruited a stud, Drew Edwards. From Calvert Hall College High School from Baltimore Maryland. Edwards played in the Baltimore Catholic League and scored over 1500 points during his high school career and is in the top 3 in scoring of all time. Yet you have failed to mention the immediate impact that he can have on this years team. Being combo guard, and playing the game the right way. Why is that?

Because this podcast was about recruiting for the class of 2016 and beyond. I was asked a specific question about the frontcourt and Ben Bentil and then specifically about whether Cooley would run the flex as much this year. I am planning another 1 or 2 podcasts before the season begins that will focus on the non-conference schedule and the current team.

Oh. Okay. I have been following you this past summer. So what do you think about the stud Drew Edwards?

I really like his style of play and versatility. I’ll have plenty more on Drew and all of the other freshman in the next week or two as I get into season preview mode.
