Weekly College Basketball Polls Update: February 15th

Week 15 of the college basketball polls have been released and Providence has fallen again, but remained inside the top 25 after a 1-1 week that included a double OT loss at Marquette and a home win against Georgetown. The Friars are now 7-6 in Big East play and will travel to Cincinnati for a Wednesday night game against Xavier before having their second week-long “bye” of the Big East season. This is the first time Providence has been ranked in the AP Poll for 12 straight weeks since the 1977-78 season when the Friars spent the final 13 weeks ranked in the AP Top 25. The Friars moved from 20th to 23rd in the AP Poll and from t-17th to 20th in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll this week.
