Adding UConn would be a total money grab by the league, IMO. Maybe Fox is pushing for it, so hard to know if the league’s President’s are truly to blame. This would shoot down the fallacy that this new incarnation of the Big East is all like-minded schools who put basketball first. UConn clearly values football the most, have a larger state-funded budget to work with and are a public institution that opens the league up to disclosures not currently forced by all being private schools.
