Friartown Fan Voice Podcast with Matt Chittim

Happy Friday Friartown. This is Mike Hopkins, the founder of pcbb1917.com and I want to thank you for tuning in to the first episode of the 2016-17 season, which gets underway officially for Providence on in just over a month against

to another episode of the Friartown Fan Voice podcast. I have a very special announcement to make about the podcast — I’m getting a co-host! Joining me is Matt Chittim. Matt is a 2003 graduate of Vassar College where he captained the men’s basketball team his senior season. After his playing career, he moved on to Roger Williams where he would work as an assistant coach from 2003-2007 before being promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2008-09 season. He also worked as an assistant director of admission at Roger Williams from 2006-2010. He left the basketball life in 2010 and moved into development at Brown for 2 years before making the crosstown move to Providence College in 2012 where he is currently a Major Gifts Officer in Providence’s Office of Institutional Advancement. That’s sort of the long and formal intro for Matt, but I’ll let him give you a little more about himself. Welcome to the podcast, Matt!
