With the live periods of July coming to a class a few weeks back 247Sports decided it was time to do a full Class of 2019 rankings update and some Providence targets moved around quite a bit, including a Friar commit.

Here are players Providence is involved within the Class of 2019 on 247Sports’ latest Top247:

• #53 Kai Jones
• #72 Balsa Koprivica
• #77 Greg Gantt
• #99 Dahmir Bishop
• #145 Al-Amir Dawes

Akok made a huge move prior to this release. He went up 78 spots from 103 to 25 before July even ended. He jumped another 4 spots in this latest release. The other big mover that Providence fans might notice is Gantt sliding down 19 spots to 77. Personally I think this is a product of Gantt making a big move from 79 to 58 back in the mid-May update and the scouts deciding his April performance needed to be viewed more carefully. Much ado about nothing for Friars fans, in my opinion.
