2017-18 Weekly College Basketball Poll Watch: Week 4

The week 4 college basketball polls were released Monday afternoon and Providence finds themselves in familiar territory getting some votes but not enough to crack either Top 25. The Big East has 3 teams in the AP Top 25, 4 teams in the USA Today Top 25 and 3 teams in the Kenpom ratings Top 25.

Here’s how the Big East and Providence’s non-conference opponents fared in this week’s polls and Kenpom ratings:

The Big East

• Villanova: AP 4, USA Today 4, Kenpom 2
• Xavier: AP 21, USA Today 20, Kenpom 21
• Creighton: AP 25, USA Today 23, Kenpom 33
• Seton Hall: AP 26, USA Today 24, Kenpom 25
• Providence: AP 35, USA Today 35, Kenpom 29
• Butler: AP N/A, USA Today 38, Kenpom 57

Providence’s Non-Conference Opponents

• Minnesota: AP 12, USA Today 12, Kenpom 23
• Rhode Island: AP 37, USA Today 48, Kenpom 53
