2018 wing Khavon Moore has cut his list down to 12 schools ahead of the all-important July live periods that begin later this week. Moore’s list of schools is Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Marquette, Mercer, Oklahoma, Providence, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCLA and USC. The talented wing guard is one of the most versatile players in the 2018 class. During the spring live periods Moore ran with the Atlanta Xpress on the Under Armour Association and played a few games with Nike South Beach on the Nike EYBL circuit.

Moore took an unofficial visit to Providence in October and has trekked the country taking more unofficial visits than any other recruit in recent memory. Moore is ranked 53rd by Rivals, 45th by ESPN and 80th by Scout. His 247Sports Composite National Ranking is 44th. ESPN’s scouting report describes Moore as “an elite athlete with physical tools and potential versatility for the very highest levels of the game.” Providence currently has 4 open roster spots for the 2018-19 season after AJ Reeves took one of the available scholarships a couple of weeks ago.
