Bryce Cotton to Play Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks

After playing a total of 8 games last season between the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies, Bryce Cotton will join the Atlanta Hawks for NBA Summer League to be held July 8th through the 18th in Las Vegas. Cotton also played 6 games in the NBA D-League for the Austin Toros and 9 games in the CBA for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers last season.

This will be Cotton’s third time playing in the NBA Summer League after he played with San Antonio in 2014 and Utah in 2015. Cotton has played a total of 23 games in the NBA between Utah, Phoenix and Memphis and has averaged 3.83 points/game in 8.6 minutes/game for his career. He has played 40 total games in the NBA D-League all-time with career averages of 21.95 points/game, 4.58 assists/game, 4.5 rebounds/game and 45.7% career 3-point shooting percentage in 39.2 minutes/game.

He joined the Xinjiang Flying Tigers for the playoffs last season where he played 9 games, started 2, and averaged 21.22 points/game, 3.22 rebounds/game and 2.67 assists/game in 31.9 minutes/game. He also shot 53.1% on 64 3-point attempts in those 9 games. According to Sportrac.com, Cotton earned an estimated $293,285.00 in the NBA last season with the majority coming during his time in Phoenix. That doesn’t include what he made during his short sting in the D-League or the 9 game run in China.

  • July 5th 8pm vs. Houston (Cox Pavilion) on NBA TV
  • July 10th 4pm vs. Washington (Cox Pavilion)
  • July 11th 4:30pm vs. Brooklyn (Thomas & Mack Center)
  • The playoffs begin July 13th

ESPN will air all 67 games of the NBA Summer League across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU and WatchESPN.
