  • Kris Dunn continues to be under the weather and he didn’t start this game after looking lethargic in pregame warmups. The Friars started Kyron Cartwright, Junior Lomomba, Jalen Lindsey, Rodney Bullock and Ben Bentil. Dunn managed 17 minutes, scoring 2 points and dishing out 3 assists.
  • Bentil led all scorers with 28 points on 9/15 shooting. This is his 17th game this season with 20 or more points. He also led the Friars with 8 rebounds.
  • Cartwright notched a career-high 16 points and dished out 8 assists. He was a catalyst for the Friars by aggressively taking the ball to the basket. He made 8/9 free throws on the afternoon.
  • Lindsey was active on the offensive glass from the tip and had his jump shot working. He went 3/7 from the field, including 2/5 from beyond the arc for 14 points. He was 1 shy of matching his career-high of 15 points.
  • Ryan Fazekas had 6 points of the bench on a pair of 3-pointers.
  • Tyree Chambers was the first substitute off the bench and showed some quick feet and hands on the defensive end in spurts. Cooley appeared to be looking for Chambers to provide a defensive spark.
  • DePaul was led by Eli Cain with 22 points. Tommy Hamiltonled the Blue Demons with 6 rebounds.
  • The Friars return to action on Wednesday, March 2nd against Creighton at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center at 9:00pm ET. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
