Bill Raftery to Emcee Providence’s 2015 Late Night Madness

Providence’s Late Night Madness events keep growing year after year under Ed Cooley and the 2015 version is no different. After announcing that Ludacris would be the performer back on September 1st, Providence athletics released a statement on Thursday that the emcee of the 2015 festivities will be none other than broadcasting legend Bill Raftery.

Raftery is a famed character on and off the air and feels right at home hosting Big East basketball on Fox Sports 1. He now joins a lineage of recent emcee’s at Providence’s Late Night Madness that includes Nick Cannon and Jalen Rose. Providence’s Late Night Madness festivities will take place on October 17th and the event is open only to Providence students. The Friars will also have a big recruit on campus that weekend in 2016 Sedee Keita. Keita has now become Cooley’s top priority on the recruiting trail.
