Previewing Big East Media Day
Big East Media Day is Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. Coaches, players and administrators from the 10 member schools will be in attendance along with league Commissioner Val Ackerman and members of the media. Brendan McGair of The Woonsocket Call reported on Twitter that Ed Cooley will be accompanied by LaDontae Henton, Carson Desrosiers, Tyler Harris and Kris Dunn. For those on Twitter, the Big East announced the official hashtag of the event will be #BEmediaday.

Here is the schedule for the day:
MEN’S SCHEDULE
- 9:30 a.m. Opening remarks by Commissioner Val Ackerman
- 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Interview Session 1 (Butler, DePaul, Creighton, Villanova will go to TV outlets.)
- 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. Interview Session 2 (Marquette, Providence, Xavier will go to TV outlets.)
- 11:15 – Noon Interview Session 3 (Georgetown, St. John’s, Seton Hall will go to TV outlets.)
The Big East sent out a press release Tuesday night to announce that there will be streaming beginning at 10:30am on BigEast.com. The 10:30am show will be for the men’s portion of the day and will be hosted by Fox Sports’ Tim Brando. There will also be enhanced social media which is detailed in the press release.
