Rodney Bullock Named Big East Player of the Week 12/5/16
For the first time in his career Rodney Bullock has been named the Big East Player of the Week. Bullock scored a career-high 36 points on Wednesday against New Hampshire and followed that up by scoring 17 points against then 21st-ranked Rhode Island on Saturday. Bullock also pulled down 11 rebounds and shot 46.2% from beyond the arc in Providence’s two games.

Bullock started hot and kept the scoring going in the UNH game but he was held largely in check during the first half of Providence’s game against URI. Bullock turned on the jets after a halftime talking-to from Ed Cooley and scored 14 of his 17 points during those final 20 minutes of play. Bullock is currently leading the Big East in scoring at 21.4 points/game.
