Kris Dunn Named Preseason All-American by CBS Sports

The preseason honors keep rolling in for Kris Dunn. Dunn has already been named to a few preseason All-American teams and was named the preseason National Player of the Year by Blue Ribbon College Yearbook. On Monday CBS Sports announced their preseason All-American squads and Dunn found himself on the First Team again. Dunn joins Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, LSU’s Ben Simmons, Gonzaga’s Kyle Wiltjer and Kentucky’s Skal Labissiere on the First Team.

First Team

  • Kris Dunn – Providence – Junior
  • Buddy Hield – Oklahoma – Senior
  • Ben Simmons – LSU – Freshman
  • Kyle Wiltjer – Gonzaga – Senior
  • Skal Labissiere – Kentucky – Freshman

Second Team

  • Jamal Murray – Kentucky – Freshman
  • Melo Trimble – Maryland – Sophomore
  • Malcolm Brogdon – Virginia – Senior
  • Georges Niang – Iowa State – Senior
  • Nigel Hayes – Wisconsin – Junior

Third Team

  • Fred VanVleet – Wichita State – Senior
  • Marcus Paige – North Carolina – Senior
  • Denzel Valentine- Michigan State – Senior
  • Perry Ellis – Kansas – Senior
  • Jakob Poeltl – Utah – Sophomore
